Congratulations to everyone for all your hard work in 2007 & 2008 to promote Highland Ponies here in America!

Sept. 2008 - Kentucky Horse Park & Festivale of Endangered Breeds:
to see more pictures from the event). The HPECA group of representatives for Highland Ponies successfully competed in our first "national" Highland Pony show. The ponies had an opportunity to participate in Working Hunter Pony, Open Jumping, Dressage, Ridden, Costume Class, and In-Hand - every discipline except Driving. Most of these classes were "open" to both horse and pony breeds and a Highland placed no less that than third in each of the the disciplines. The group included ponies recovering from surgery & injuries, plus one very green pony at it's second show ever! Well done, congratulations, and "thank you!" for representing your breed!
